A child’s current skills matter more than their age label. Start with a task they can attempt comfortably, then increase the challenge. These are practice resources for selected skills, rather than complete coverage of a board syllabus.

- Follow a short story, identify key details and explain simple word meanings.
- Class 4
- Sequence events, identify the main idea and connect details to an inference.
- Class 5
- Use evidence, compare viewpoints and explain a broader idea in your own words.
A 20-minute home or classroom session
- Spend three minutes recalling a related skill or discussing the passage title.
- Model one question aloud, explaining how you choose a method or find evidence.
- Allow ten minutes for independent work. Offer an oral response or extra time when useful.
- Review one successful answer and one misconception. Ask the learner to explain a correction.

They focus on primary-school skills in Classes 3–5. Select the level by what the child is ready to learn and adapt the amount of writing, reading support and time.
